I have a 21/2 year old daughter and so much of what you have written rings home. I've come across so many 'perfect' mothers on the web that to read about the life of a loving, creative mammy who has off days and does things wrong and yells sometimes makes me feel SO much better about my horrible pmt days! And the fact that my baby's first word was 'bollox'. altho' I'll swear BLIND it was 'hello'. This is between us, right?
I would love to homeschool but the schools round here are actually excellent...so I just read websites and plan fantasy syllabuses, (syllabusi??)
And yes, I proof read this post. Even tho' I've had 1/2 a bottle of wine and I'm a leetle tipsy. Okay, I'm going to submit this before I get all paranoid about it. I am SO going to add you to my links! Not that I've blogged in, like, forever. Great writing, keep it up, BethBethShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18019839136551085585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5103127084932403120.post-78714571950883034992008-06-30T15:56:00.000-04:002008-06-30T15:56:00.000-04:00We fight this feeling every year, but teaching Spe...We fight this feeling every year, but teaching Spencer at home has been wonderful, and totally the right choice. It's individual, not for everyone. Get support this first year, it helps. Two things come to mind; 1. We are always complimented on his behavior, his ability to get along with all ages, babies to adults, and that he doesn't just do what other kids are doing, I attribute this to not being in traditional school. And #2. A school can mess them up too. I don't know how the schools are there, but scary stuff goes on in this state.Craylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15260303944797544290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5103127084932403120.post-31023244248879044712008-06-30T11:03:00.000-04:002008-06-30T11:03:00.000-04:00Considering how much you love your children, I thi...Considering how much you love your children, I think you're not likely to make any decision that isn't well-thought-out and bound to cause irreparable damage. I can't wait to hear about how it goes. You're going to do great.Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11256362794086818775noreply@blogger.com
