Invasion
Kai and Ivy found these guys in their sandbox the other day. Actually, Kai ran in screaming, "Mom I just found the most hated creatures on the Earth and they are living in my sandbox!"
I thought she was exaggerating, but the more I look at them they do look pretty darn scary...

I've found weird stuff in our sandbox too.
eww so gross! I just sent my kiddies out to play only to find that our back deck is overrun by spiders!
I can't remember what part of the country you're in, but those look an awful lot like the darling little monsters we in Florida call stink bugs. They're harmless, but when bothered they do spray stinky stuff. Believe me, those look like kittens compared to some of the bugs in my back yard.
Yikes! What kind of bugs are those?
