You know what I'm talking about. Right? (please say yes.)

Today:

1. I woke up too late and only got out of bed because my children were begging me to save them from starvation.

2. Kai got yelled at for knocking over a plate of peanut butter toast that was sitting by the bed. It's been sitting there for a day (okay 2) and it was totally my fault it was there in the first place.

3. The kids ate leftover pizza two meals in a row which, for those of you doing the math, is actually eating pizza the last 3 meals total.

4. We had two potty training accidents in one day. One of them involved standing on the bed and peeing all over sheets.

5. The playroom went from organized to a complete and total disaster.

6. I threatened to throw toys in the trash and settled on locking up the playroom.

7. I relied way too heavily on Comcast On Demand (thank you, Dora, Diego, Backyardigans, and Blue!).

It's days like today that make me think about getting a job. I think it would be like going on vacation.

But, then I remember that I am not qualified for anything and pregnant super satisfied most days and decide to see if tomorrow is a better day.

It almost always is.

I can relate a little too well to how you feel. Sometimes I stop and think, "when was the last time the kids ate something that wasn't frozen or from a can?".

Once I got so frustrated with toy messes I got garbage bags and ransacked their rooms and toy closet. I packed up 75% of everything they had and put it in the garage. The funny thing is 90% of what I put out there is still out there and they haven't even asked about it. And that was months ago. I should just take it all to Goodwill!

Jenna, I am sure if I had two young kids, I could totally relate, what mother can't at some point.
One day I will be making post like that. :)

But you are so lucky to be home with the girls, and they are so lucky to have such a great mom, who is so creative!

As a mom to 4 girlies under 7, I can totally relate. You don't know how it makes my day to hear that another mommy left a piece of PB toast by the bed and then yelled at her kid for dropping it:). I'm not laughing at your misfortune, mind you......just reveling in the fact that I AM NOT ALONE!

I know exactly what you're talking about. Those are the days when I call my hubby at work and tell him that he's in charge of picking up supper and then I greet him at the door with "if you've ever wondered what I do all day... today I didn't do it... don't injure yourself in this obstacle course!"

Sounds like my entire week last week---but today they are in school, almost all of them!
