I keep having daydreams where the adjuster says the car is totaled and we get a new one. But, considering it only looks like that I am going to snap back to reality. The reality where we pay our $500 deductible and get the same car we had before. Oh well. A girl can dream can't she?

Ladies and Gentleman, I present, my sad car.
I keep having daydreams where the adjuster says the car is totaled and we get a new one. But, considering it only looks like that I am going to snap back to reality. The reality where we pay our $500 deductible and get the same car we had before. Oh well. A girl can dream can't she?

I know, right? BOO indeed. The adjuster said $5000 in damage. I guess that makes paying a $500 deductible feel a little less horrible...
If it makes you feel any better (but it probably won't) I'll tell you about December 2007. On a beautiful Saturday morning, while I was sitting still I was rear ended by someone going approximately 35 - 40 mph. She pushed me into the car in front of me so I got sandwiched. The car who hit me was totaled, my car had $6,000 worth of damage and the car in front had $10,000 worth of damage. While my car was in the shop I was driving a rental for almost 3 weeks. The second week I had it, I was sitting at a stop and got rear ended in the rental car. Good times.
