Having multi-racial children I try to find books that highlight the good things about being different. When I found this book by Leo Lionni book I LOVED it!
Basically, the whole premise is that everything has a color of its own. Everything but Chameleons. And so, this Chameleon goes on a search to fit in and find his color. In the end, he finds a friend and a sense of happiness about what makes him unique.
Who doesn't love a book that teaches children to love themselves and others for who they are? I know I do...
