Okay, so it seems today is World Rat Day. A day set aside to celebrate all the loving and loyal attributes of the pet rat. Apparently they are fantastic little creatures and essentially suffer from bad P.R. To be honest, I tend to believe it. They always have seemed sweet to me.
True, the closest I've ever come to having a rat is a hamster, but I think it's entirely possible they've gotten a bad rap. So, spread the word and take the day off from work. It's as good a reason as any to have the day off I think. (Then again, what do I know? I'm a stay-at-home mom...)
I think we'll pick up Ratatouille to watch with the girls tonight and celebrate World Rat Day. Why not, right?
