Our Texture Stones

They're not as clean and zen looking as the ones we gained our inspiration from, but I keep telling myself it's the process not the product, right? Still, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and they girls had a great time doing them.

They're pretty simple to do. We basically just followed the directions from Write Mama Write which entailed rolling Sculpey into small balls and pressing them down flat onto the nature pieces we collected. The Sculpey was too hard for the girls to roll into balls themselves, but once we did that they were able to press them down with our help. Afterwards we baked them at 275 degrees for 30 minutes.
